Synopsis :
De Cristero-oorlog tussen 1926 en 1929, waarbij een opstand ontstaat tegen de Mexicaanse overheid die het land wil seculariseren. We volgen de verhalen van een stel doodnormale mensen uit het hele land die er voor kiezen om op te komen voor hun vrijheid.
